About the client

A freight marketplace with 40 engineers, replacing nightly batch jobs with streaming pipelines.

What you would work on

  • Move the core pricing pipeline from nightly Airflow batches to streaming
  • Own data contracts between six producing services
  • Build the tests and lineage that let analysts trust the warehouse
  • Cut Snowflake spend, currently the second largest line in the infra budget

What we are looking for

  • Strong Python and SQL, plus real dbt experience on a warehouse others depend on
  • You have run streaming pipelines in production and handled late and duplicate data
  • Opinions about data modelling you can defend
  • Experience partnering with analysts and data scientists as your users
